Source: (from yesterday) once every two days i get to make off all the garbage I’m wearing, sling bandages, gauze and replace them. i get so claustrophobic and feel so dirty with out being able to shower so its a nice day for me. i get to breathe a little bit. its very exciting for me. i know it doesn’t look bad but if you even look at the image above you can see how much more swollen my rt shoulder is compared to my left. not to mention how my skin is all yellow and green underneath all that.
oh yeah in case i wasn’t clear about what happened. which i portly haven’t cause its hard to type and I’ve been medicated a lot since then. but i went to go get some dinner for my wife on tues night. she had been working all day long and i wanted to be nice and have some food ready for her when she got home cause i know working a long day sucks and sometimes the last thing you want to think about after a day like that is what to eat.
so i was about a mile from my house on my motorcycle when a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction decided to make a left turn and cross right in front of me. so i had two make a split desiccation. t-bone the oncoming car or slam on my breaks and hit the ground. i took the it the ground option. i rolled about 40 ft shredding a lot of skin off of my hands and back and broke my collar bone and (i think my hand) as well. the car didn’t even bother to stop and just sped off. somehow i got up picked up my bike and parked it on side of road and just sat there in a daze. some people tried to help me but they really just wanted to offer their opinions on what kind of lawyer i should call. seeing as how i wasn’t really in the mood to figure that out i just wanted to sit on the curb. called my wife to pick me up and in the mean time some cops came. almost the first thing out of their mouths was” most of the time we never catch these people”. cool thanks for bracing me for your future incompetence. cops. even when they are not being dicks, they are really giving you 100% of their 50%!
so we drove to emergency room, waiting an hour to be seen then spent the next 5 hrs there getting x rays and being treated. so here i am now. they don’t case up these kind of breaks, so you are supposed to just immobilize them. 6 weeks it takes and hopefully ill be good as new. the bright side is there is no surgery needed and that is a relief. the down side is my beautiful motorcycle now looks like an ugly stepchild that had been beaten.
