Day # 303 OFF! - Satan Did Not Appear Color: White Brand: Anvil Source: Went to See the OFF! Record release show last night at the Whiskey.  I don’t think i have been to the whiskey since i did a NOFX show there in 2006, been a while.  apparently Keith Goes there a lot.  he told stories about all the shows he saw there, like Black Sabbath!!! WTF.  Black Sabbath at the Whiskey must’ve been insane.  Who knows, perhaps seeing OFF! there in 20 years will sound just as wild, but somehow i doubt it.  I was more psyched to think 411 Played there at some point Mario said.  what i wouldn’t give to see that show.  i fucking love any band Mario is in.  A Fine Pettibon shirt as well.  FYI OFF! if you keep printing Pettibon designs i will keep buying them. It’s funny how much Keith Morris shred on most front men.  and the dude is probably twice their age.  some people got it, and some don’t  I guess.  he is 50 fucking 7 for christ sakes.  57!  put that in your pipe and smoke it.   Fidlar played that night too, my first time to see them after already being a fan, and luckily i wasn’t disappointed.  not sure what i would have been disappointed about, it would be pretty hard, but bands nowadays, you never know.  (I’m looking at you Blood Orange!!! get it together)  Fidlar i found out stands for “Fuck It Dog, Lifes A Risk” but somehow i am sure it will end up standing for a whole lot more.  Very reminiscent to me of some old Dead Milkmen, it was a nice refreshing fun surf punk band that looked and played the part, and were legit.  kudos you lil fuckers.  keep it together for a while and crank out some good records.   My Favorite quote of the night.  Keith Saying I’m not Punk, i don’t belong to and organizations kept for the human race.  I’m just old and angry.” Thanks for putting on the show FYF and Goldenvoice. Day: #256 fIREHOSE - Coilin N’ Toilin Tour 1991 (Reproduction) Color: Tan Brand: Gilden Source: If you don’t like Descendents or fIREHOSE you need to learn to deal with it now.  I am in a moment of my life where not only am i going to get to see two of my all time favorite bands in one month, i get to see them in the span of one week. Multiple times!  first I’m going to Japan to see Descendents play there for the first time ever in their career.  thats going to rule, so i am excited for that.  then when get back i am flying to San Francisco to see fIREHOSE play for the first time in about t 20 years.  also equally exciting to me.   Sadly Tickets to fIREHOSE sold out and i did not get any, so maybe this post is blatant call out for anyone with tickets to sell, or perhaps goldenvoice can see their way to putting me on the list, or maybe Mike Watt enjoyed the box of shirts i gave him so much he want to take me in.  who knows.   I do know that if any one has tickets to SF or Santsa cruz shows i would be willing to trade a set of shirts i put my blood and sweat into reproducing in a very limited # for them.  you think about it. :)  if you are a Large or a Medium.  Or if you don’t have tickets and want shirts you can buy a set of shirts and then i can use money to buy tix to show.  email me or something.  clock is ticking!!!

Source: 66 Days since i was in Chicago and Saw ALL with Dave Smalley, ALL With Chad Price, and ALL With Scott Reynolds.  66 Days since i saw Down By Law with Dave Doing Dag Nasty Covers at the End.  66 Days Since i Have Seen The Pavers.  66 Days since i saw Chris Shary in person without even knowing it.  66 Days since i reunited with Dan Bonebreak after about 10 years, and he still ruled.  66 Days Since i hung out with my friends Craig and Steve and we all shared a hotel room and Craig got an ALL tattoo on his leg of my painting of an all 12 backside.  66 Days since i ran into the stalker girl form chicago at the smoking popes show.

But more importanlty has been exactly 66 Days since i last Saw the Descendents. and ONLY 5 more days till i get to see them again.  thanks to Goldenvoice having good taste for 30 years i get to see them again. :)

Day: 142 Shirt: Dinosaur Jr. - Bug 2011 Tour Color: Black Brand: Gildan Source: I am so stoked for this tour i pre-ordered this shirt.  I can’t even begin to say how much this record influenced me and it was the introduction to Dinosaur Jr. for me.  Such a good record all the way through.  So many jams.  Speed Freaks I think it was.  this was a clear combination of a great part, and a great song complimenting each other.  poetry in motion. This post may be a blatant act in order to get free fix from Goldenovice too.  Since i am broke from buying Morrissey, and Noel Gallagher Tix this week, i need a lil hand out.  So Goldenvoice if you guys read this, hook a brother up for a little promotion to SEE THE DINOSAUR JR @ THE FONDA PLaying BUG in its Entirety, and Having Henry Rollins Inter J. Mascis Before hand.  Dec 14th! So yeah, i really cat wait to go..who is in this with me?  Day 19?  huh?
