Day: 470 Shirt: Dead Kennedys - In God We Trust, Inc. Color: Grey Brand: Blue Thunder Source:  look at the collar on this shirt, it looks like they had a hoop sewn inside it or something.  When i wear this shirt i feel like i should be hearing peoples confessions or something.  all the good old days when merch companies didn’t give a shit about the fabric or the shape of a shirt.   On an entirely different subject, lets talk about this artwork and album title.  Dead Kennedys were never one to shy away form being controversial by any means.  Throwing Jesus on a Money Cross is really no exception.  I have a feeling they must have had a giant folder of good images.  Then again the 80’s. Regan, Cold War so many different topics to choose from for good material.  Nowdays people aren’t as clever, they try to be controversial, and may well achieve that but they don’t say anything. that to me just seems like an excuse for lack of good music..  take for exaple the new Death Grips record cover for “No Love Deep Web” (NSFW) Cool. you managed to be the first band to put an erect dick on your cover.  yes mothers will get mad an offended, but why? Im more offended that it is so tiny. and the handwriting is bad.  thats about it.  You know what i am saying?  If you are going to go this far at least do it for a purpose.  have two dicks fucking an 8 or something, a stand against prop 8 gay marriage.  Have it attached to  a transgender woman.  shit just maybe take a better photo of it that some crappy iphone pic.  make an attempt at art.  you are an artist after all, correct?
