Day: 453 Shirt: Descendents - Milo Goes To Austin Fun Fun Fun Fest 2010 Color: Grey Brand: Gilden Source:  No disrespect, but not Chris Shary’s crowning achievement.  I mean that in the most admirable way meaning that there are so many others that topple this design that i cant imagine that this is his favorite either.  I also can’t imaging since this show was kind of a replacement last minute show for DEVO, that he also had much time to make either.   Regardless, the effort was made and that is a lot more i can say for any other band at this fest or any show for that matter.  they took the time to put effort into making this show special. A few other things from this trip made this show special too.  Ill start with the most.  Descendents doing a DEVO cover of Uncontrollable Urge!   and here is a crapply filmed version of the song.   anyone who ever goes to a Descendnets show knows how rare it is to see them do an improv cover of another bands song.  it was great.  but by this time i had been kicked in the head so many times my head hurt and my glasses were smashed.  but it was fun for sure. Earlier that day. my friend pointing out to me how stoked he was to have his this case for his glasses that was indestructible.  i took this as a challenge and grabbed it and punched it once and destroyed it.  he was supper bummed and tried to explain to me that he meant indestructible and in in his pocket by getting bumped.  I told him, it seemed like a challenge to me that i was ready to take on.  Earlier that day he also spit directly into my open mouth so that also may have had something to do with it too.  these are the kind of things that happen in TX.   I also watched the shit out Of Suicidal Tendencies, Capt. Jazz, Municipal Waste and many others that day.  If you ever have a chance to go to TX’s Fun Fun Fun fest i highly recommend it.  super good location, cheap, and the people and the town are really cool.   It really was a good time that night.  lots of fun.  So in hindsight Chris this is one of your best shirts.  :)
