Day #411 Fluf - Genuine Fluf Parts (Honest Don’s Brown Trout Surprise) Color: White Brand: Tultex Source: I was in love with this band..and it s predecessor Olivelawn.  what i wouldn’t give for an Olivelawn shirt..but back to Fluf.  it was some serious distorted guitar rock and i loved it.  Mangravy was an epic album, but i think Home Improvement takes it home as the bands best record. You know its funny, here is another case of hearing a song as a cover before i had ever heard the original.  Not being a fan of “Reggae” (this was ruined by my local skate shop owner Bob @ Surf & Skate in Citrus Heights, CA), I had never listened to Bob Marley and never heard Redemption Song before.  clearly i still enjoy this Fluf version more to this day, but its funny to think now you hear covers as an adult and sometimes they seem cheesy to you, but somewhere someplace there is some kid experiencing that song for the first time ever.  enjoying it, and maybe learning a little bit more about music.  So not such a bad thing huh?  Instinctively i always in my older years think it is just a ploy to get people to like your music through another famous song.  I mean it works all the time for Hip Hop right?  just ax Diddy (yeah i sad AX on purpose).   Anyways, enjoy some Fluf performed by a contributor to the skateboard photography world, O.  just O, its like MoFo.  that all you need to know.   sadly neither Mangravy or Home Improvements are on Spotify so here is the one album that is:
